Phonics Readers Series 2

This is the second series of phonics readers and was also designed in conjunction with Monkey Tree’s Phonics Jungle books. It supports students in developing their phonetic framework by cultivating the skills necessary to recognize and sound out letters individually, blend letters together to form words and read short sentences independently. The fun and entertaining stories with Max, Liz and friends help to engage and motivate students to read independently. Each book contains a different phonics focus while incorporating previous phonics skills for review and revision.
In addition to this each book contains a target word list to aide in vocabulary development and facilitate language extension as well as comprehension questions to assess understanding and encourage greater engagement.
